Event Description
An introduction to coping with pain through the use of art therapy. We will hold both a therapeutic and educational space for participants to practice a series of structured art directives. No artistic experience is required! Participants are encouraged to bring whatever art materials they have at home, even if it is just a pen and paper.

Bri Beck, LCPC, ATR (she/her) is a mixed-media artist and licensed art therapist whose work explores the interaction of the body and the environment and how this impacts emotional wellbeing. In her private art therapy practice, Bri specializes in supporting clients within the disability community, focusing on complex medical trauma, chronic pain, health anxiety, self-esteem, self-advocacy, and the psycho-social aspects of living with a disability. In this art therapy and chronic pain workshop, Bri will offer an art therapy directive aimed at supporting participants to navigate and soften their relationship with pain.
