Event Description

This PeerConnect session is designed for people with disabilities who rely on caregivers in their daily lives. We’ll focus on building confidence around hiring, managing, and—when necessary—letting go of caregivers. Participants will explore practical strategies for clear communication, setting expectations, advocating for their needs, and navigating conflict in ways that support both independence and dignity. This session centers self-determination, boundaries, and creating caregiving relationships that truly work for you.
